Customers
are advised to check carefully all details on this form particularly
with reference to the inscription, that is the dates and spelling
in the inscription.
Whilst every effort is made to ensure delivery within a reasonable
time no responsibility can be accepted for delay due to adverse weather
conditions, non-delivery of materials, labour disputes or other causes
beyond the control of John Jones & Son.
If the burial ground or cemetery authority refuse permission for the
memorial to be erected on grounds which could not be contemplated
by the customer at the time of signing the order and no costs have
been incured, John Jones & Son agree to refund the customer all
monies received and neither party shall have any further claim on
the other.
Terms of payment: a deposit of 50% is required with the order. The
balance becomes payable when the memorial is complete and ready for
viewing, prior to being erected. Full payment is required prior to
any memorial being erected
Title of goods does not pass from John Jones & Son until full
and final settlement of their account has been made.
Photoplaques: The excellence or otherwise of a photoplaque depends
on the clarity or otherwise of the photograph and no responsibility
can be accepted for the quality of the reproduction or for its durability.
Whilst every effort is made to return photographs we cannot guarantee
the return or accept any responsibility for damage.
In some burial grounds graves are not marked by the Authority and
there may be no attendant available to show the mason the plot In
churchyards and some smaller cemeteries we send a small printed map
for our customer to indicate the position of the grave.
If this order is cancelled by the customer after expenses have been
incurred by John Jones & Son, such as the ordering of materials,
labour charges and other costs that cannot be reclaimed, these will
be charged to the customer. |
